The purpose of this guideline is to familiarize yourself on how ZAPaSPAM works. Although this guideline use screen shots from the Outlook toolbar, all the process and screen shots of ZAPaSPAM is identical for both Outlook and Outlook Express user.
Since ZAPaSPAM is a permission based validation process, your first step is to add or import individuals from your Contacts book to the White List. During the installation process, the Install Wizard can automatically import the individuals into your White List. But if you choose to skip the install wizard, you can still import individuals into your White List at any time.
From the ZAPaSPAM toolbar, press the "Import" button.
You will be presented with the Microsoft security access screen.
Check the "Allow access for" box, select 1 minute and then press "Yes". ZAPaSPAM will display the import screen, listing of all the individuals that it retrieved from your Contacts book in Outlook.
You can select each individual or the entire list, and then press the "Add Selected" button to import the selected individuals to your White List.
